New calcifications 4 years after original diagnosis

I have had clear mammos, MRI and ultrasounds since my original diagnosis and treatment. Last year I had two lots of fat grafting for the lumpectomy defect. Last week I got a call back from my mammo as they wanted more films plus an ultrasound because of calcifications they spotted.These calcifications are around the scarred area and so they think these are probably related to that but the fact that they've popped up after such a long time has me slightly on edge. I saw the films and ultrasound and they are quite clear. They are going to discuss my case at their next weekly meeting to decided where to go from here. I'm assuming either just watch them or more likely, given my previous pathology, a biopsy.

Has anyone else dealt with this?

Yes, I have. At about my 3 year anniversary calcifications showed up and were near my tumor bed I think. The radiologist said that a biopsy was possibility or to watch very closely and have mammograms every six months. I went with checking every 6 months and they never progressed so I am back on once a year. When I first found out I was devastated. I had just had my 3 year and then I was scared. But that was quite a while ago and nothing has come up since.

Just updating:

It was DCIS again, but different pathology. Another lumpectomy but no radiation obviously. Am now on Tamoxifen.

And if anything else pops up in that breast it's coming off!!
