Hello.. I am 71 years old and I got a callback to evaluate scattered fibroglandular tissue. At the diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound, the radiologist showed me the X-ray and pointed out issues that were irregular. He said that it was indeed a new density, irregular, but with no shadowing and no vascularity. He said he really just didn’t know. I told him that I had fallen on my right side 2 weeks ago and the breast had been painful and was still a little tender. He said it might be a dissolving hematoma. I can’t get a copy of my report for a week.

He told me I could wait 6 months, get an MRI, or a biopsy. I am an obsesserso I think I will get an MRI. Should I get a biopsy instead?

Thank you.
