Fat grafting - yes or no?

Hi everyone,

I had my single DIEP flap last year and now i'm headed for my 2nd reconstruction surgery in 1 week for necrosis removal, shape breast and fat grating. I felt confident knowing that everything will turn out fine under good hands of my PS.

However, when my PS mentioned about a controversy about a very light chance (1% ) that stem cells from fat cells may cultivate cancer cells, I got nervous. This I did not know at all...and now I'm very concerned.

Did anyone hear about this? Will it lead to reoccurence?
