I had a routine mammogram last week. They want me to go back for spot compression and ultrasound on 9/2 The only thing the report says:
MASSES: There is a new spiculated mass within the right lower breast at approximately the 6 o'clock position, posterior 1/3 of the breast parenchyma.

I looked up spiculated mass and all the sites said it was “Very suspicious for cancer”. One even said 90% chance. I was wondering how many of you got this same report and how many did actually turn out to be cancer. Thank you in advance for your replies.
