I know what I’d tell someone else, but yeah, it’s different when it’s you. 🤷🏻♀️
so I’ve been on the rollercoaster - 7 years ago now. This Spring, just before my dr appt, I got an eczema kinda patch on that areola, the breast started itching like crazy (the inside - not underneath) and it turned bright red. I happened to be seeing my oncologist, who sent me to a dermatologist. She prescribed steroid cream. The redness only lasted the day I had that initial appt, but the itching still comes and goes, and there’s still a thickened patch on the areola.

I finally made a follow up appt with the dermatologist- she had said that if it didn’t resolve, they may have to biopsy. Anyway, I called today, and they’re squeezing me in on Monday. Normally they’re really booked out. That makes me even more nervous.

I know Pagets is rare, but it does happen. I don’t have dry skin at all, it’s not an allergic reaction. Not sure what other reason... I just really don’t want to get in the rollercoaster again. It’d be a mastectomy for sure.
