Anyone still decide to do Diep flap reconstruction after MBC diagnosis? Would love to hear about your experience.

    Hello, I know this post is old but I don’t log onto the website much.....Idid flap surgery after stage 4 diagnosis. I am happy I did it but looking back I am not sure I would do it again. I had many post surgical complications and wound healing issues that made me stop treatment much longer than I wanted or intended.

    I was on ibrance / letrozole at the time and planned to take a 6 week break. It turned into much longer and each surgery is a break in treatment.
