Tamoxifen and Curcumin

I recently had a hysterectomy with ovaries removed and am experiencing joint aches I am sure from lack of estrogen. My MO had decided to leave me on Tamoxifen. I have read that tumeric could weaken the effects of tamoxifen. Does anyone know about this? I was just wondering since I also have removed my ovaries if it would really matter

Sloan Kettering has an app with information about herbs and supplements and their potential negative affect with certain drugs. For tumeric it does not mention not to take if you are on Tamoxifen. I am on Tamoxifen and take tumeric which my oncologist said was OK to do.

I wouldn’t, but that’s me. Both MO and PCP said I could.
