Well, not great. But biopsies are done for a reason so breathe and try to just wait for those results.
My family Dr faced with a similar mammo report put in a referral to a surgeon right away since whatever it was, we'd want it out. If you want to be proactive, you could start your surgeon search now or ask your Dr for referral tomorrow. For me, my Dr's fast action meant that I met my surgeon the day after I got my biopsy results and I had my surgery a week later.
Best wishes

Thanks for the reply! It was actually the breast surgeon that did my biopsy today. I was referred to one right away after my results came back.

Mine called me on the phone when she had the pathology reports in to let me know what next steps should be. Hopefully you have someone you trust and are comfortable with.
Best wishes to you.

Welp, going to the breast surgeon today to hopefully receive my biopsy results. They said that if they don't come back in time, they were going to have to push my appointment to next Wednesday. So far, no call either way. I just bet that I'll get there this afternoon and they won't have them.

fingers crossed for good news, Kelly

Thanks for the well wishes. ❤️ I was prepared for the Dx, so it actually was somewhat of a relief when she told me it was DCIS. I told my 17 y/o daughter it was the "good" type of BC. The full biopsy report is still pending. My surgeon basically just got the quick and dirty 48-hour version today. I have an MRI on Monday and then surgery will be scheduled for the last week of August. I'm going to head over to the diagnosed section now and join you lovely ladies because I have many questions to follow. Thanks again!
