Questions about positive lymph nodes

Hi—Not sure where I should post this... but I have some questions regarding my positive node. My lumpectomy was in March, and I still wonder....

I had 8mm of cancer in my node. Do they measure the node itself for that measurement? Or do they measure what is inside the node? Also...I know that’s not a little bit of cancer in the node....but can you have significantly more than that in a node? Is that close to the limit? 8mm in a node always sounded like so much to me...but it’s not like I have comparables.

I also wonder if no extracapsular Extension gives me good odds that it wasn’t beyond that node...or does that not matter?

I think the reason I wonder this is that they only took out one node and it was positive. There was no extracapsular extension. I did radiation to kill whatever was potentially there. But I’m human, and I wonder what I asked above. I did not do chemo because of a low oncotype acore. And I always wonder about this stupid node. Thank you.
