could this be cancer?

hello everyone, I hope you are well. So, I had a baby in March and while pregnant I had a lump under my armpit. Immediately after finding it, I went to the doctor. He prescribed me antibiotics and it went away quickly.

Now time has passed and last week I had a horrible sunburn pain on my left shoulder and armpit. That pain turned into breast and shoulder pain (like a horrid muscle pain). Each day I have new pains and aches but mostly it remains on the left side. My doctor suggested it was shingles but my left breast has been aching so much. And I havent had a rash yet. I havent breastfed in 2 months and I do currently have my period but Im having no trouble on my right side.

Last night I noticed my left armpit was slightly more swollen than the right and still this dull achy feeling in my left breast. And now when I lift my arm it hurts. Im also having shooting pains in my left arm and wrist .. arthritis like pains.

I dont know what else it could be? What do you think?

I am sorry that you are experiencing these pains. None of us are doctors and even if we were, I don’t think we’d be making a diagnosis based on a post. That being said, what type of doctor did you see? If you saw a GP, you might ask him for a referral to an ob/gynfor a thorough breast exam and see where it goes from there. Pains in your arm, wrist, shoulders, etc. do not sound typical of breast cancer (though anything is possible). So what could it be? Probably dozens of things but since I’m not a doctor who is examining you, it would be irresponsible of me to even speculate. Do call your doctor and ask for a referral to someone who can investigate your symptoms further but chances are it’s not breast cancer. All the best.
