How soon radiation after mastactomy?

I would like to know how soon you guys start radiation after mastactomy surgery?

If I remember correctly, radiation oncologists like to wait a minimum of four weeks after surgery before starting radiation. Sometimes longer if you had a really big surgery, or have other complications.

Does seem it was about a month both times.

My radiologist determined I should wait 3-4 months.

Thanks ladies ,did you guys do any breast reconstructive and fill Saline water in the expander? I finished my mastactomy July 29 and now I am weekly meeting plastic surgeon to fill the Saline water in my expander and my radiation will start September 1 , I heard it is painful especially when you are with expander /saline😩.Anyone can share please thank you
