Force hair loss
Has anyone tried to lose their hair faster? Its not my first time being completely bald and I would like to get it out faster actually. Its distresssful for clumps of hair to fall out and its leaving a mess around the house. Also it's been itchy and the shower doesn't get it out faster. I keep trying to pull it out but not enough comes out. Has anyone any luck of it coming out at once? Its hard to go to a salon during pandemic as well. If anyone has any advice, I would really appreciate it.
I have tried the lint roller but it's not strong enough sadly.

Do you have hair clippers? When my long hair started to fall off in clumps, I put the smallest comb on the clippers and gave myself a buzz cut. It helped with the itchy scalp as well. I know some shaved their heads, but I didn't want to risk cutting my scalp.

I used scissors and just gave myself an uneven, very short haircut. I think someone in my family helped with the parts I couldn't see. I wore a hat or wig so I didn't really care that it was uneven for a week. Once hair starts to fall, it falls quickly in my experience. Best wishes to you.

I agree - a buzz cut but not shaved clean. Being that short I found lint rollers did work. l also wore a cotton cap to bed, and around the house (it was winter & cold). That picked up most of the hair and I cleaned that several times a day with lint rollers.

I had a buzz cut as soon as hair started falling out. I couldn't deal with seeing clumps of hair on my pillow. So my hair dresser gave me the buzz cut and she was just wonderful and so supportive.

When it started falling out, I shaved it using a #2 guard. I didn’t want to risk ingrown hairs by totally shaving it bald. I use the sticky lint roller, it gets the flaky stuff, and then hairs...I have to use a new piece of sticky quite often, and I lint roller about once a day...in the evening. I probably use 10 pieces of lint roller. Showering in the morning gets quite a bit of hair as well. Masking tape or packing tape would probably works as well...

I had my hubs use his clippers at the shortest setting to buzz it all off. Then we had fun with duct tape, pulling out the leftover fuzz.
It was more distressing anticipating losing my hair than when I actually lost it. But I still used shampoo in the shower because I liked the scent.

sbelizabeth, you said it perfectly for me. Yes, the thought of losing my hair was much worse than when I lost.

The dry eyes are just killing me, I take Letrizole and Ibrance, I don't know which one is doing it but I'm miserable. I wear sunglasses in the house and everywhere else my eyes hurt so much.
Eye doc said it was extremely dry eyes but never mentioned anything about the condition being related to the cancer meds. Sometimes I think they just don't really care very much. She prescribed OTC eye drops and and ointment.
Most of my hair has fallen out too. I also asked the oncologist about remedies for that and she just kind of stared at me like it was a stupid question and told me to puff it up.
I know I'm supposed to be glad to be still alive and I am, but who am I anymore with all this stuff going wrong? I don't want to be this, whatever I have become.
