Fat grafting in armpit

I stumbled upon this excellent source of information while looking for answers. Thank you for sharing your experiences along the way. This is my first post and I’m hoping to garner first had advice.

I had a mastectomy with axillary node dissection and immediate reconstruction in December 2019. Surgery has left me with a pretty big divot in my armpit. My PS said he could do fat grafting to fill it in. Has anyone else done this?

    Tamara - I don't have any personal knowledge, but there are quite a few posts about fat grafting. You can use the "search" section to the left to find lots of posts.

    Thanks for steering me in the right direction. I did find a few posts specific to filling the underarm “hole” left by the mastectomy. I’m glad I found your site to gather as much information and opinions as possible. I’m still in the recovery stage and will probably move forward in late fall.
