I had a bone scan and CT scan that showed a sclerotic lesion that COULD have been metastatic....but in my case the bone biopsy was the only way to know for sure. and ultimately mine was not a metastatic finding.

I’m wondering if your scans were suspicious....but then the biopsy showed that it was a benign finding. If they knew for sure they wouldn’t have done the biopsy. Some scans are more obvious than others, but it’s my understanding that a biopsy is the ultimate way to definitively know a diagnosis

Yes my scan was suspicious , it lights up on pets scan and after biopsy it happens to be negative. However recent ct scan shows some progress in my bone severe compression, well based on my oncologist since we have negative biopsy so we are stick to mastectomy, you know I am out of my curiosity what if it's really Mets to my bone. anyway do you have any lymp node involvement?
