Had my annual breast exam. Doc found area of thickening on left breast 1:30 - 2:00

Same breast found lump inner side over lapping quadrants. Have bilateral diagnostic mammo and ultrasound next week.

While putting hair up I had both hands behind head and now notice 2 large dimpling areas under that breast. More then a little concerned

Kim, I notice you have 31 posts. What is your background? Do you have any high risk conditions? Have you had any biopsies or procedures in the same breast that could cause scarring or fat necrosis? Have you had cysts or fibroadenomas (benign lumps) before? And how old you? (Yes this matters because certain conditions are more likely at certain ages.)

As for the dimpling, are you large breasted and is this an area that you've paid attention to before? Could the dimpling be something you've had for a long time or do you know that it's just developed?

Sorry for all the questions but it's difficult to comment on what might be going on without having all the background information.

Same time last year I had a Birads 4

    Two areas of right breast

    Both were biopsied

    One was a intraductal papilloma

    The other was a fibroadenoma

They removed the papilloma for a surgical biopsy

Kims - Beesie is correct. We need more information. Please go to my profile and list your diagnosis & treatment to date. Then make it 'public' so we can better answer your questions.

I noticed made a duplicate of this same post on "not diagnosed but worried". Have you in fact been diagnosed with IBC?

It looks like I can only add things if it was a diagnosis of cancer?

    Last year had Birads 4

    2 biopsies

    Surgical biopsy

Final was intraductal papilloma that was removed

Fibroadenoma that they dis not remove

These were both in right breast.

The new issues are in left breast that had clear mammogram 7/201

Kims - we were posting at the same time. Still - it's much easier of you stay with one thread. It sounds like you have never been diagnosed with breast cancer, is that correct? If so, you're better off posting on the other thread you started under the not diagnosed but worried section. If I'm wrong I apologize.
