One Year Ago Yesterday...

I am 67 and had a prophylactic bilateral/5 total nodes removed, 4 on the right 1 on the left, a year ago yesterday. I had ADH with an 80% probability of developing DCIS within 5 years so I opted to be proactive.

I'm not sure where I should post this as I couldn't find a specific topic that pertained....

I am of short, round stature. Always have been. I had lost nearly 25lbs before surgery and another 9 when my breasts were removed. Everything seemed to be going well except a bit of minor lymphedema both arms/hands.

My issue now is that my belly has exploded! I am not eating any differently than I was before at all! But over the Winter I gained 10lbs of what I had lost prior to my surgery! It is ALL in my mid section!! NOTHING I do has helped at all! I used to have a bit of a waist! Now I'm just a barrel!

Anyone else experiencing the same?
