    Was it TP53 gene, or Li-Fraumeni Syndrome?

    I believe if you tested negative then your daughters would be negative. If you were positive then each of your children would have a 50% chance of inheriting it

    It could be a different gene mutation the PA was talking about also. The problem with you not being tested is that some gene mutation syndromes predispose you to other cancers that you (or your children) might need to be more closely monitored for, such as colon cancer, melanoma,etc. They pretty routinely do multi-gene genetic test panels now.
