Swollen lymphnodes post reconstruction?

I was finally able to have my reconstruction surgery during this covid time 15 months after my mastectomy! I'm now four weeks out from surgery. I found a small lump behind my left breast under my armpit. This was the side my cancer was on and received radiation.

My oncologist initially thought it was fluid build up after surgery about two weeks ago. My plastic surgeon assured me he did not see any tumors during the surgery and that it's potential for some of the fat from the fat grafting to have slid back. The problem is my post-op appointment was tele-visit due to covid so it was hard for him to really judge. I have a normal oncologist check in next week that I'm trying to get moved to in person.

I was curious if anyone here any similar experiences post reconstruction? I think there is a chance its a swollen lymph node given the location.

I thought I'd share an update here. Sometimes unfamiliar things do not have to be scary! While my medical team was able to feel what I thought was a lump, it's part of my new anatomy and just tissue from the surgery. No cause for concern!

This concern usually would have been eased earlier. However, due to the state of New York with covid when I had my surgery all visits, even post surgery checkups were done via a teledoc followup. It's just hard sometimes to not freak at everything that may be new or different navigating this new normal post-cancer. I just wanted to share that sometimes things can turn out to be okay.
