Maybe Sen. Ted Cruz thought if he screamed "FREEEEDOM!" loud enough, Americans would forget about his recent vacay to sunny Cancun, Mexico. At the same time that he ditched Texas, his constituents were suffering at home after the weather crisis that left the state without power and water. Cruz began his speech at the event with a joke about the Cancun scandal, then for some reason, he shouted out "freedom," and we're not sure why. Cruz also mocked wearing protective face masks, and at one point, he said, "That is our party," and yelled out," and these deplorables are here to stay."

I would say he is something well over and above un-hinged.

Even if I was a Reps. and even if I was generally okay with CPAC there is no way on God's green earth I would push something as hideous as this statue anywhere unless it was standing right at the side of the earth and all I really had to do was push it over. I simply could not ( for love or money ) be even seen with this monstrosity -- let alone help take it somewhere. If you have to do something like this then there really is a HELL.

I am actually wondering what Trump will think of the gold "likeness" with the thongs for shoes etc. He does not seem to like things that tend to 'mock' in a way that makes him look bad. Also it looked like he was wearing shorts as well. He does not have a real sense of humor and while he may say nothing I just feel like this will not be something he fondly looks on now or later.
