Demonstrations in several places around Texas calling for Ted Cruz to resign. One problem with that is that the governor is a Rep. too and who knows who would fill the slot? Would like to see Cruz out, though. Actually was never in favor of him being in!

Just saw one of those things ( I think they mainly want your email addy ) where you could sign to say you wanted Josh Hawley to resign. I think they all should be asked to resign. They were subverting a process whether or not it resulted in anything or not. It made a lot more work for many and carried the process into the wee hrs. since Trump had to cause a real commotion that could have turned into a far bigger calamity than it was. They all aided and abetted Trump like they have done since he came into ofc.

I would find it delicious if some special elections are called to replace R senators or House members who had to resign/forced out due to their involvement and their seats taken by Democrats.

There was a lot of underestimation of the foaming crowds this time. Social media networks (primarily the ones at the fringes, although the bg guys had a hand too) and that QAnon crap really amplified the insanity and false messaging. What worked to tell lies back in the quaint good ol days of AM talk radio or Fox News cannot be contained now as people take those messages, add on their own insanity, and blast it further to other people open to hearing that message. Oh, and then they have their own game to play with chasing down Q or pedophiles or whatever. So now you see the instigators backpedalling furiously because their little tricks worked a little too well this time and tipped over the edge from cynical wink-wink noisemaking to full out treasonist action.

By the way, what happens to that idiot QAnon congressman from SC? Does he really have the balls to take his place in the House? (don't answer that - its "yes" because the benefits get him out of mom's basement)

I had watched this video in horror seeing a lone black man facing an angry white mob. Now I see a brilliant officer who saved many lives, not just his own. He deserves a medal, and I'm glad that first terrorist has been arrested (and fired).

I so hope and pray that all the people involved in any way are found and charged. I, as well , hope they, along with Trump get the harshest sentences possible. We on this side have all been forced to experience a long drawn out horror movie with the ending coming with hideous violence's against fellow humans and the desecration of our house of government. Those who perpetuate the lies and suppressions, and act like they are afraid to utter so much as a peep against Trump need to grow up, grow a spine, or resign here and now. There is no room for you in a government to which you are not completely willing to fulfill the oath you took.

Most of the Reps. are ungrateful pawns used by Trump who has no more use for them then he does the wrappers about his Big Macs and Cheeseburgers. They choose not to acknowledge that, but want we decent Democrats to forgive them and let this all pass. That definitely is not the way I see it. They have been let go for so long they no longer know how to stand up and be men and women of honor. The most un-dignified scurvy bunch -- and while in time I will forgive them, I think I have said -- it will be for my peace, not theirs's. I wish to move and make what I can better and they continue to try and stand in the way and cry their phony stories of how they got where they are. You bought it, you own it, and I hope we are smart enough to make you keep it for a long, long time.
