Could it be ??? So many of the White House people have seemed so fortunate for their behaviors. Was Hicks at the "debate" ?? No one in the Trump group ( once they got inside to the seating area ) left their masks on. So, who knows, maybe a big number at one time of these people will end up with this stuff. I'm only concerned ( although the Biden group came in with masks on and LEFT them on ) that no one from the Biden group have anything go on.
I think many who write in these pages are having a number of thoughts and prayers.

Well I am officially ROF:

Ruth: The story about the stutterer was so touching and thanks for pointing out the machinations of the despot. He truly is a monster. I am with you about mindreading and the Secret Service.
Seems Melania has a foul mouth and has used it to describe her true feelings about the immigrants and about decorating the WH for Christmas. I think you have to remember that she too was an immigant so is she talking about her status as well as that of her freeloading family? Plus, as a product of a Soviet influenced raising, she is most likely not a true Christian and for her Christmas is not a holiday. She needs to lay off the botox because her face is becoming wooden looking. Wow, in that photo it looks like she is borrowing his makeup. Her latest speech about the scope of her Be Best program was read from a teleprompter and she is not much better at reading from them than her husband is.
Love the Foghorn Leghorn meme. I can just hear it in my head. LOL.
Let's see how long he truly quarantines after this exposure.
-
Wow. Trump and Melania tested positive for Covid19. Talk about your karmic justice. And science. You can deny science all you want, but it still exists. And it matters.
Couldn't happen to a more deserving group of scumbags.
-
Wow--so happy to hear the karmic news! I saw where at the debate and although the Trump gang as it filed into the auditorium wore masks, shed them when they sat down. They were offered masks but spurned them. Jill Biden was wearing her mask when she went up to the stage to give her hubby a hug after the debate--still wearing her mask.
Karmas's a BEE-YOTCH, Donald!
I hope that even your HAIR hurts!

Two days after I l needed to leave the presidential debate after 20 minutes and have a shot of vodka... I .just learned that Trump is Covid (+). Am I awful that I liked this news? Am I awful that I hope he gets very, very sick? I mean, after all, he was raised by a bully... wouldn't an enlightened person have compassion? Sadly, I don't. Do I hope he suffers? Hmmm..... can't answer this.

That is the only thing positive about dRump.

I hope the ghosts of 210000+ dead Americans visit Trump as he quarantines.... Gonna be one damned crowded bedroom!

Well I'd like to know if Mr and Mrs Trump have symptoms. Because if they test positive but remain asymptomatic, Trump will milk that by saying Covid19 is no big deal. Then his cult members will have a field day and run rampant more worsely. Terrible English to describe potential terrible trouble.
Somewhat off topic, I wonder how people who work at Fox affiliated newsrooms process all the Trump revelations. Are they hopelessly brainwashed? Or do they secretly plan their exit from their fake news station? The two news anchors of our local Fox station look to be in their mid to late 30s. They were all smug looking after RGB passed and Trump made his Supreme Court play. Then a few days later, news of his $750 tax payment and financial losses came out and the anchors seemed more terse, sort of grim. I wonder what taxes they pay? Or do they simply continue to take one for the team, oh take one for the team again, and again, and again, ad nauseam.....
And now Trump tests positive for Covid. How blind can they be to his outright lies and lack of leadership?
-
Oh, and will Don be getting the Clorox treatment as an injection or taking it in tablet form? I hope he doesn't flinch too badly when they shove that ultraviolet light up his...........

Somehow I don’t think this was the October surprise that was planned. Pence has been exposed too. Yahoo!! Can you say President Pelosie❤️❤️❤️
-
Well, well, well !!! Call me amazed on the one hand and not one iota at all on the other. I too have to say I've " dreamed " so often that Trump would get covid-- not because I want to wish bad things on people, but because Trump has been soooo cavalier and because if even that is/was his personal feeling, he took an oath and has done little if anything to live up to it. As Trill mentioned 210,000 on his side of the ledger and how many more that will have medical after effects even though they survived.
So I am not sorry and yes I do think Trump should have to experience what he has mocked so very often and get a birds eye view of what he has down-played at every opportunity while shunning science and the CDC, WHO and all others who worked to educate and help make others safe -- to the point of placing many of these people in a bad light.
I would like to think this might help the country wake up ( although I know some never will ) to the orange horror story that all of us face every day trying to stay well.
My VERY heartfelt prayers for ALL the Bidens who may have been exposed at debate time. Again this morning I watched where Jill Biden went up on stage to HUG VP Biden, sharing her strength for a job well down, under great pressure -- with her mask on. Sad that Biden could not have one on but I understand. I just hope with all my heart that he remains well along with all of that group.
The other side -- once again I say " If you want to dance, you have to pay the fiddler". Karma is a real bitch, indeed.
Divine: I had the same thought -- is Trump taking bleach and chloroquine now.
Spookie: Laying in bed last night watching tv I had the same thought sail through -- what an Oct. surprise and nothing like what was expect --not even close.

Was is Karma, or was it the Cheeto Vodoo Doll?

I saw a story this morning about a new song written by country singer Maren Morris, “Better Than We Found It". It's a political protest song written for this time in our country's history. The lyrics are moving as is the accompanying video. I've been a Maren Morris fan since she hit the country scene a few years ago, and am now quite impressed that she's using her celebrity to speak out about Black Lives Matter and much more. Many of today's country singers play the Switzerland card, remaining neutral on political issues so as not to affect their careers and their album and concert ticket sales. Ima go to iTunes right now and buy Maren's new song.
"When lines of tomorrow are drawn/Can I live with the side that I chose to be on?/Will we sit on our hands, do nothing about it?/Or will we leave this world better than we found it.”
You can read about the song and more of the lyrics here:

It was the voodoo doll!!
I just want him to get sick enough to really know what it is like. Enough to have trouble breathing and need oxygen. Enough to spend 5 days in ICU like a friend of mine had to do. Thankfully she didn't have to go on a ventilator, just oxygen. (and she's in her 40's, slim, and no other health conditions) So I just want him to have that experience.
A Boris Johnson experience. Very, very sick, but recovers.

This was on a FB forum that I follow:
Trump being diagnosed with COVID is about the best thing that could have happened to him right now. So much so, in fact, that I pretty sincerely doubt that it's true. I mean, it's concrete fact that Trump will never tell the truth when a lie suits his needs better. So with this announcement:1. He can control the news cycle for probably THE most critical two weeks of the election season. Distract, distract, distract.2. He gets a ton of free publicity. Remember those reports that his campaign was nearly out of money? Problem solved.3. He can opt out of the next debate without repercussions, if it seems like that's the best thing for him to do. He said he'd isolate for 14 days. The next debate is 14 days away. He can choose.4. Even if it is true, there's a solid chance he'll recover or remain asymptomatic. (And if it's a lie then of course he will.) That lets him bolster his claim that all the pandemic response is a leftist over-reaction.5. Tons of people will express joy in his supposed suffering. That's all ammunition for his long-standing message of persecution.6. He might even sucker some people into sympathy votes.7. But doesn't he have to give up on some of his precious rallies? Well, possibly. But he was scheduled to go to Wisconsin this weekend for two rallies. Wisconsin is a swing state, and is also seeing a big surge in COVID-19 cases. Trump was getting some pushback on holding those rallies. If he HAD held them, and they turned out to be major spreading events (which they almost certainly would have), that'd be bad in the last couple weeks leading up to the election. Now he can bow out gracefully, and avoid the blowback. All while he gets to basically sit around doing nothing and letting the news come to him. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes golfing. Being golfingly-distant outdoors counts as isolating, doesn't it? Of course it does.Don't even pretend you can't believe he'd lie about it. Of course he would. And the timing is way too good for him to not be exceedingly suspicious.
