Should I be concerned about IBC?

I know this is in no way a means for diagnosis, but this has really been worrying me the last few months. The red dot is from a splatter of grease but the thing to the side of it that looks almost like a chicken pox scar is new as of a few months ago. I noticed it shortly after the sore from the grease. I sent a picture and message to my doctor just now also. I'm just trying to ease my mind a bit in the meantime. Has anyone had IBC look like this? Thanks so much in advance. I've had pneumonia for 3 weeks now and I'm so afraid of having yet another thing to battle. Side note, I'm 28 years old and also have Multiple Sclerosis.

IBC progresses rapidly, in days, if not hours. It wouldn’t look like a little chicken pox scar that hasn’t changed in months. Have you looked atimages of what IBC looks like?

To add to MelissaDallas's post, have you looked at a list of the 6-7 most common symptoms of IBC? Other than the scar on the skin of your breast, do you have any of the other symptoms?

Breasts have skin that is no different than the skin on the rest of your body, except that maybe it's a bit more sensitive since it is never exposed to the elements. From what you describe, and given that you've had this scar for a few months, I'd suggest that you ask for a referral to a Dermatologist.
