Possible Benign Condition?

New to this site. Currently waiting for my diagnostic mammo next week. Anyone over 50, post-menopausal, spontaneous bloody discharge from one breast only, and have it be benign? I’m 51. Most of what I’ve read is conflicting. Just trying to stay sane while I wait. Keeping this to myself until I know something more certain, but itt is scary.

    There seem to be quite a few posters with this condition in the last little while. Seems to me I remember a number of them coming back 'benign', but I hope some are still on the boards & will post.

    Yes, it can be benign. Probably the most common reasonfor bloody discharg, at least when it is from a single duct, is a benign papilloma.
