pain in hip where lesion previously deemed likely benign

Options

I finished active treatment for TNBC in late 2018. I have a lesion in my left proximal femur that has been deemed likely benign (lit up on PET but then had an MRI last year). They don't know what it is because it is described as having characteristics "not specific to any one benign tumor" but also didn't show any aggressive characteristics.

At the time, I had no pain in the area. Now a year later, it hurts like heck. I have a follow up CT scan, but not until next month (July 17). Wondering if it could have been a met that started to heal during my treatment and now is active again since I've been off treatment for a year and a half.
