Has anyone heard from Fitztwins?

I was dx’d in 2005. So was Janis, Fitztwins. Her twins were 4, my dd was 3. She advanced to stage I’ve. Ihave followed her here since then. She has been such a source of inspiration. I was so happy to see that she was able to celebrate her sons graduation last year. I hope she is still with us. Does anyone have any updates?

I saw her post last May and was elated when she posted her sons graduation. I was hoping to see an update from her this year.

I have been wondering the same thing. We were both diagnosed in 2004. We both have identical twin boys. Mine are six months older than hers. My cancer was early stage so I no longer come here often, but I do check in to see how she is going and I noticed that she hasn’t been here for more than a year. I know she said if things got bad for her she would just slip off the boards quietly, but maybe she is just enjoying life without thinking about cancer all the time. I too was very happy that she saw her boys graduate

Janis is in an MBC group on facebook that I am in. I clicked through to her online journal. The last week of June she shared about getting a lone spot on her brain radiated and said she is now awaiting a new treatment plan. Sounds pretty upbeat, all things considered. That's a relief.
