Neck and head

Hello,
I had BMX on Sept. 19. Last month I noticed one side of my neck seems swollen with a soft lump on the neck muscle (sternocleidomastoid muscle). I checked the thyroids levels and they are normal however, I am having a heavy feeling on the same side ear. Does any of you had any experience with this? Any similar symptoms? Any advise?
