Hello . My name is Deepa and I am a certified reflexologist in the Duluth ,Georgia. I wanted to share this information because I lost my closest friend to Breast cancer in 2019 after a devastating 4 year battle . I was one of her main caregivers . After witnessing the effect of my reflexology sessions had in helping her with some of her symptoms I decided to further my training in the Reflexology Lymph Drainage protocol and was able to help her furthur by keeping her swelling down.

Reflexology Lymph Drainage , a technique that I am trained in ,is an award winning reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. It is a unique sequence that has been researched and developed by Sally Kay, whilst working in Cancer Care. Her conclusions The results appear to support the theory of reflexology.

RLD was developed through clinical practice while working in cancer care outpatient clinics, using reflexology for patients suffering from all kinds of cancers at all stages of the disease. Many of the patients had been treated for breast cancer and consequently suffered secondary lymphoedema. Complaints relating to lymphoedema often included, a swollen arm, painful shoulder, uncomfortable underarm swelling, weakness and problems with everyday living activities.Patients who had received this treatment experienced less discomfort and swelling and an increase in strength and arm mobility. RLD protocol was developed and formalised, it is performed on the feet and is tailored to the affected arm. It differs according to which side has been treated for breast cancer.

RLD also helps patients in other additional areas such as

Arthritis Chronic Fatigue Sinus Problems Asthma Fibromyalgia Migraines Eczema

Reflexology is a form of complementary therapy which, through the massage of the feet, aims to promote wellness in other areas of the body.

I would be happy to answer any questions if you would like to reach out to me .
