edited June 2020 in Waiting for Test Results

I have not been on this Board (thank you God) since 2011 when I had a lumpectomy. All turned out good and no cancer was detected. This year's mammogram has me headed back this morning for a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. I do not feel good about this. They saw something in the same breast as before, and I have had a lot of 'itching' in this breast. No visible changes, just the itching. I likely should not have come back on here until post-testing, but my anxiety is high and I'm fearful.

You had an excisional biopsy with benign results before. No reason at this point to believe otherwise this time until they tell you based on imaging or biopsy results that they believe or know you have cancer. Hoping for good results for you.

Thank you ... I am having a stereotactic biopsy next week. At least that process has evolved since my last one -- it sounds like a simpler set up/process.
