I didn’t think I would be here again waiting to see if I will hear better news. I received a call from my gyno office saying that radiology needs additional imaging from my mammogram I had last Friday. Today radiology called and said they saw calcifications in my right breast. We are all praying that once they receive films from my other doctor’s office, ( I moved to a different state) they will compare and that hopefully it’s just something that’s been there

ladybugmommy: I hear you. I thought I would never be here again after 12 1/2 years cancer free. I was actually getting used to having mammograms and wasn't even nervous and suddenly I got a call that I needed further studies. Fast forward and I have cancer in the other breast. Nothing but good news. Early stage, very small, grade 1. Will finish radiation next week. I have a significant family history. Grandmother, Mother, 5 cousins, 2 aunts. A mix of paternal and maternal. All were survivors with many dying of old age or other issues. I am negative for all genetic markers. Just familial I guess but I really don;t think about it much.
