I wish the hair on my head grew as fast as the hair on my chin.

I hear you...since oophorectomy + AI, I have a lot of facial hair, along with thinning hair on my head. I wax the facial hair, but I wonder if there is any permanent solution. Very annoying!

In the same boat over here. After going through chemo and being hair less EVERYWHERE....the hair has grown back with a vengeance in all the places I don't want hair. The hair on head is growing, but not fast enough....lol

I had medical electrolysis on my facial hairs. As I understand the process, it works on about 1/3 of the hair follicles the first time. And of course new hairs grow that were not there that first time. I ended up going maybe a total of 7-10 times in two years and pretty much all of them have stayed gone. Because I'm getting older and can't always see the one or two blond/grey hairs that might crop up, and because really like the lady who does the treatment, I usually go in once a year for a 15 minutes catch up.

It is so annoying. Mine have grown back and they are like little spikes around my chin area. I also get a few hairs around my nipple but that will be gone soon

I've shaved since my hysterectomy in 2008. I switched to an electric shaver a couple years ago so I could use it on my pits during radiation. It's SO much easier and takes less than a minute. For my thinning hair, which was shedding at a horrible rate, I started taking biotin about two years ago, and it's really made a difference. It's thicker looking, and I don't have huge amounts of hair in the drain any more when I wash it.
