Hi All,

I'm having difficulty managing this overwhelming feeling of fullness. I feel like I just went through a buffet line 3 times. It's making it difficult to eat, move, sleep - you name it. I've felt like this for a few days now. I've already tried:

- senna tea

- miralax

- magnesium supplements

- anti-nausea meds (zofran & compazine)

- medical marijuana

- ginger tea

- doterra ginger drops

Nothing really makes a dent. Any pointers?

Hi Mariadll. Can you help with more information? What does "fullness" mean? Are you constipated? Has it been a few days since you've had a BM? You mention ginger products and anti-nausea meds, so are you talking about stomach sensation? When was your last chemo? Was that your first one? Have you had this sensation before? If you are talking about constipation and you say you've tried miralax, did you just use it once, or did you use it for several days with no help?

By fullness, I mean feeling like I just went through the buffet line 3 times in 30 minutes. It's that feeling you get when you have eaten way too much (although I haven't been eating much at all). It feels awful - I don't even want to drink water, I feel so full.

I'm not constipated, and have been having at least daily BMs. Chemo was last Thursday (AC), which was also my first cycle. I haven't had this sensation before (I was on TC chemo in 2013, and never had this feeling), so this is all new. It's worth mentioning yesterday was the first day without steroids, so I wonder if that made the feeling worse.

Any pointers on what can help alleviate the painfully full feeling?
