DIEP flap recovery

Hi, I had a double DIEP flap surgery back in January. I’m Healing well over all but am having issues with one of my breasts. One is soft, kind of like a natural ready. The other is pretty rock solid since surgery. It has softened a very tiny amount, with massaging the area but not much. I’ve seen the surgeon a handful of times and in the beginning he’d take out a lot of extra fluid. At this point, he wanted to give it time to see if it will soften. It’s really hasn’t much. This is my breast that had the cancer in it and has given me trouble since the surgery. I see the dr again in 2 weeks.

Has any of you experienced this? Last time I saw he he didn’t think it was necrosis and I took 2 rounds of antibiotics a while back in case it was infected. Other than being rock solid, it looks fine.
