New swelling three weeks after mastectomy

I had a right side mastectomy on May the 10th with no lymph node removal and tissue expander. Yesterday I noticed new swelling in between the right side of my breast and below the armpit but not the armpit itself. Should I notify my surgeon?

    It's probably a seroma (fluid build up). If so it should resolve by itself. I'd keep an eye on it over the weekend, and call your oncologist on Monday if you're still concerned.

    May I ask why you didn’t have lymph nodes removed? I am having soon a BMX for DCIS and was told that they have to take some sentinel nodes.
