In spite of all my darkest fears, I'm still here after 14 years!
And there's nothing like a global pandemic to provide a whole new set of darkest fears!
Thank goodness I have my survivor sisters to lift me up...
Hugs & hope - Julie

Hi Julie,
Won't be waving at you this year when cycling through Kelso on my way to Portland. But I am out and about on my bicycle and taking the time to explore new places/revisit my favorite routes. We are so lucky here in Washington State as so easy to get out and about.
Enjoy the summer, and here's to the next 14! - Claire

Congrats to you and to Karen1956!

A big THANK YOU to everyone for posting! It's really helped to cheer me after spending the last couple of months in lockdown. Like it is for everybody, life is shifting around me these days: my husband will be retiring on June 30th after 35 years with the DSHS. As for me, I can't envision myself returning to my office of 42 years - and yet I'm worried about the "nothingness" of retirement. In the meantime we've both been teleworking, dividing the time between Kelso and our cabin on the Oregon coast. I feel very fortunate to be able to exist this way, but also remain painfully aware that I HAVE to avoid any health issues right now. I'm overdue for my echocardiogram so have just been trying to keep up my walking and my workouts until they can get me back in. Also need to keep the "comfort eating" in check!
Best to all - Julie
