Need Paracentesis due to tumor

how common is to need biweekly Paracentesis due to tumor? My grapefruit size tumor in my pelvis is recurrent breast cancer that I had in 2012. I feel like I am going to have a bowel obstruction by the time the second week comes around. I am going to have my third Paracentesis next week.

My wife had to be drained quite regularly at one time. She was accumulating over a gallon of fluid a week. She had a procedure done where they installed a drain, and we were able to do it at home, more regularly. It brought her great relief. It was painful to have the line inserted, and a bit of healing after it was eventually removed, but it was worth it to have relief more often, and not have to travel. If its possible, look into it. You will need someone at home that will come along and get the training on how to do it. It isn't hard, but there are things you need to know.
