Looks like a bug bite near nipple and swollen itchy armpits
hello ,
I am worried about having ibc or any other cancer , all started about 2 months ago I had really itchy armpits but I didn’t think anything of it . 5 weeks ago I wake up with a small lump near the nipple on my left breast , it looked like a spot , red circle Or rash on the skin but hard inside when you poke it , I then start felling my armpits and I notice some lumps when I did circular movement massage on them . I went to my gp that looked a bit concerned and referred me to the breast clinic .
I got to the breast clinic 4 days later and by then the spot on my breast was no hard on the inside anymore and the colour on the skin was more purple like it was healing , she checked with an ultrasound my left breast and armpit and she said the spot in the breast was very superficial to be anything and the armpits aswell superficial (the gp put on the referral letter my armpits linf nodes were swalen but she said that wasn’t correct)
Anyway I left happy to know I didn’t have anything and forgot about it until ... 5 days ago I waked up and I had the same thing but this time on my other breast , mosquito bite looking like spot and a vein that you can also see if you look close 3 lumps on the same armpit . Today is almost gone only a bit purple.
It seems that this happens 10 to 15 days after my period, ovulation time .
I contact the breast surgeon again and she said wait to see if this goes away .
But I am worried because if it happened twice it could keep happening, and it could be ibc that is just getting worse each time ( I read some cancers need Strogen to grow and my lumps seems to appear at that time ?
I am 36 year old , my breast are extremely small and I never had kids
Also I feel sometimes very hot at night I need to stick my feet out of duvet ( I read this could be a symptom) and I also have very mild shooting pain that last like 2 seconds on breast ( I don’t know if I’m getting paranoid and this pain I would not even notice if is not because I am very breast conscious
I would appreciate any opinion or advice. I really would like some more text to put my mind at peace but the surgeon doesn’t seem to think so .

Dear Alizz142,
We are sorry that these changes in your breast and the worry they are causing you have brought you here. IBC is a rare form or breast cancer but if you google certain changes in your breast, you can frequently be directed to an IBC diagnosis. It does sound like the recurrence of your symptoms is causing you continued anxiety. Perhaps you can revisit your GP and have him or her help you to figure out what is going on. There are other causes for the changes that you describe beyond IBC. Others here may also offer ideas but it is difficult for any of us to suggest what might be going on. You definitely can use some answers that bring peace of mind. Perhaps a visit to a dermatologist or gynecologist might also be considered.

Cancer doesn't jump back and forth from one breast to the other. You might want to see a dermatologist.
