Question about coronavirus/tamoxifen interaction

I just saw a bunch of articles pop up this morning that doctors are seeing a relationship between blood clots and stroke in patients with COVID. I'm on tamoxifen for LCIS and i know it carries with it an 82% increased risk of ischemic stroke. Wondering if anyone on tamoxifen has heard from their doctors about whether to temporarily suspend tamoxifen use until coronavirus is gone or under better control? I mentioned it to my MIL who also took tamoxifen and she says her doctor put her on baby aspirin while she was on it to reduce clots. None of my doctors have mentioned aspirin. Is that a normal thing? If so, it may make even more sense with the added risk of coronavirus related stroke.

I took baby aspirin with my Tamoxifen and still do with Anastrozole because I did end up with a clot after my revision surgery. I believe that is because I started the Tamoxifen too soon after surgery (per plastic surgeon) and was not taking the baby aspirin due to extensive bruising from the liposuction that was done during revision. I would definitely ask your oncologist about this.

I had the same thoughts when I saw the reporting last night. Definitely worth a discussion though to add in a baby aspirin to the daily regimen.
