I am two months post exchange and had fat grafting done on my abdomen. is it common to still have some aches or pains in the area? I am panicking a bit because my right abdomen aches a bit.

Are aches or pains common after fat grafting? Has anyone experienced this before?

Thank you

yes the fat grafting took much longer to heal and stop hurting that the actual implant exchange (from expanders). It took ages to stop aching.

oh thank goodness i'm not the only one. what did your ache feel like? did it concern you that it might be something else? that is where my head is going now... ugh. thank you so much for replying.

No it didnt concern me because I had been warned that the fat grafting would probably hurt a lot. It was a general abdominal ache (as if I had done hundreds of sit ups) and then a lot of itching and some burning at the "holes". The little scars took ages to heal too.

I think I was about 4 months before I stopped noticing any pain.

I had mild liposuction on my stomach, much more on my thighs. My stomach felt sore like sit-ups sort of.

My stomach was slightly sore for a week. My thighs hurt for at least 2 month, and I still feel discomfort down the nerve lines 2 months out.
