I was first diagnosed in March 2016 with stage ll. I went through Chemo and radiation and had a 78% chance of being cured. Fast forward 3 years almost to the day and well here I am coming up on 1 year fighting stage lV (bone). It has overall been pretty good and I am doing ok. However, I have been depressed lately which I think is because I am in the house 24/7. Going to work everyday helped me in so many ways. I am still working every day from home but getting up and out 5 days week really kept my mind off this horrible disease we are all dealing with. Can anyone provide some ideas to help me deal with the depression and anxiety I have been dealing with latley? Thank you all for this amazing website💖

does you cancer agency provide counselling? Mine has just moved to telemedicine and zoom meetings for metastatic peer support group. I really think the extra stress of covid on top of everything just often needs professional help. Also, if things don't improve, speak to your MO about seeing a psychiatrist and getting anti-depressants. It's medicine like anything else.

Also, JOIN us here. There's a thread for bone metsers and there's Mel's living room https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/163/topics/856706?page=485#idx_14549

come chat with us - it's not the same as being able to go out but we do get to know each other and knowing others are going through similar stuff is really helpful

    hugs
