Armpit tenderness and pain on non cancer side

Hello. I am 3 years cancer free. I started feeling a bit of pain in a specific spot under my armpit area a few days ago. Seems like I can put my finger directly on it but can’t feel a lump. I have some additional tenderness on the same side near the breast under my armpit as well. Best way to describe is that it feels “full" or heavy when I rest my arm against my body/breast. This is the non cancer side and still have that full breast.

I do believe I had some pain similar to this about 6 months ago and maybe a year and a half ago as well and went away. This started about 3-4 days ago. Not getting worse but not getting better. The anxiety is taking over and I'm imaging all kinds of things. I have had bad thoughts about hip and back aches and pains before and concerned about Mets and recurrence and they all seem to have gone away.

I found my own lump with my first diagnosis. I had some side breast and armpit radiating pain like never before after my menstrual cycle and lasted two weeks and did a self exam and found a 2 cm lump. As you can see I had one lymph node affected and a full right side mastectomy. I am scared that I have it in the lymph node now on the other side but just not feeling the lump. I did a self exam everyday for last three days. My breast is very dense and so it takes a long time. What does recurrence in opposite breast look like? Is this pain muscular and perhaps just a ingrown hair or something minor? I contacted the doctor. Putting ice on it here times a day. She said I can monitor it and call back in a week. I am on schedule with MRI and Mamo appointments last MRI was December and June for Mamo. No issues then.

Scaredashell07 , how is the tenderness? I just had pain kind of under my armpit but also close to or in breast area, same side as surgery.. It lasted one day and is gone today. I dont know whether to address with dr or not. I think I see her end if June

. I had br ca in 2005. Lumpectomy on that rt side. Grade 2 1 cm estrogen and progesterone positive her2 negative had chemo AC and rads to whole rt breast JCP
