Boosting the signal, the NIH is doing a study trying to quantify undetected COVID cases: asymptomatic cases, "I was sick, but I didn't go to the hospital" cases, "I went to the hospital, but they turned me away" cases. They'll interview you for screening (must be 18+, never diagnosed with COVID), then send you a fingerprick test with instructions. The test will look for antibodies associated with a COVID infection. They hope to get a better idea of how many people have been exposed and were able to successfully fight it off. It will further help them identify trends among those who were able to kick it vs. those who needed hospitalization; which will help people decide how and when to go back into public activities.

If this is something you'd like to volunteer for, email them.
