    Hello,

My wife was diagnosed with IDC in May of 2018. She was to have 8 cycles of chemo Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin alternating with Dexamethasone, Paclitaxel. After the first treatment my wife had stomach pain and she ended up in emergency with a perforated bowel. She survived the surgery but became septic and was on life support for over two weeks in the ICU. She spent a total of 3 months in hospital. She now has a hernia where the emergence surgery was performed because they couldn't sew her up completely they had to use dissolving mesh, She also has an Ostomy.

Surgery for the breast tumor was then scheduled for September 2018. Tumor was removed with clear margins. 11 of 12 lymph nodes were positive for cancer. Radiation was completed in January 2019. By the summer of 2019 she noticed that the area where the maesoctomy scar is red and irritated , after seeing the surgeon a biopsy was done that confirmed a recurrence in the skin area. She is now on ibrance and letrozal with a zoladex shot monthly to suppress estrogen. The skin is very irritated. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this?

There are no plans for a reversal or hernia repair that will require extensive abdominal wall reconstruction.

6cm tumor (grade 2) with clear margins

11/12 lymphnodes postive for cancer cells

    Radiation

    no chemo (Almost killed her)

Ibrance and letrozal with monthly oncologist appt. and twice monthly blood test.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read

    God Bless

    Sincerely Jamie
