coming off Femara, any withdrawal ?

Options

I switched to alternate days of Femara for two months and then stopped entirely last week. I am at 5 years and the Breast Cancer Index said no further benefit, though I am reserving judgment. I am certainly taking a break at any rate.

I was wondering if there are withdrawal effects from the restoration of adrenal-based estrogen?

And if anyone knows how long it takes for estrogen levels to reach what they were.

Also how long do side effects last ( a related question, since side effects are from estrogen levels being low)?

I am not feeling that well. In the context of COVID-19 I don't like waking up feeling slightly ill. Wondering if it is related to stopping Femara.

Thanks!

    oops just found this:

Yes this is a common reaction when you stop taking Femara. It can cause mild withdrawal symptoms that can include the following:
    -Dizziness
    -Nausea
    -Headache
    -Sweating
    -Depression
    -Insomnia

I hope this helps. It should go away when the drug is out of your system which shouldn't take longer than 4 days to a week. The half life of the drug is 2 days so it should be out of your system within 4 days.
