In mid Feb. my first mammogram showed 4 solid lumps in right breast. Since then, us, and vab biopsy of biggest one was done. After 2 opinions (and 2 weeks!) it came back adh. Today 2 of the remaining 3 were vab biopsied. I have a follow up appointment 4/2. They were unable to biopsy the last lump because of debris and scab from first biopsey. I guess I'm feeling unsettled because, while adh is benign (thankfully!) if it's in the other samples they took, excising them would cause a lot of tissue to be removed....the lumps are just above the nipple and at 9:00, 11:00, and 1:00- 4 to 6 cm from nipple. The one closet to nipple is 3cm, the others are 1cm at greatest length. The radiologist said they were far enough apart that removing them would be more surgery than they like to do for something that is not even cancer. I don't want to have a mx for something that is more likely not to turn into cancer than to turn into cancer. Also with non-essential surgeries on indefinite hold it couldn't be done till covid restrictions are lifted. NUTS! Anyone have adh and not had the area removed? Any regrets?
