This is my resting heart rate over the past year on my Fitbit. Started out w resting heart rate in the 50s and 60s. It starts to spike after my mastectomy 5/24/19 and skyrockets during chemo which started in July. I end chemo 11/19 and my heart rate recovers by January. Then soars again during radiation which started mid January. I finished radiation 3/18/20,but my heart rate is still climbing. Anyone else seeing this? I have a follow up w my radiation doc on Thursday and will bring this up. Have I wrecked my heart? 😑😳

A/C can cause lingering heart problems. Please do go see a cardiologist.

My resting heart rate has been about 100 lately. It’s usually when I’m dehydrated. 2 liters a day doesn’t cut it for me. I need about three to keep my heart rate down. And my blood pressure is all over the place. My chest feel really tight most days too. I’m going to speak to my oncologist about it next time I go for treatment.

    Hope you feel better soon.

Last summer I blamed the increase in my heart rate to Tamoxifen, but now I think it was from fatigue. Some people take longer to heal than others. It depends on what other things are going on in your life too. Last October I needed help standing if I was on the floor and today I don't. My heart rate has returned to normal. It would be interesting to hear what your RO's thoughts are. Best wishes to you.
