Biopsy done and waiting for that call from my doctor

I'm 65 years young and originally joined BCO back in 2013 after a mammogram came back with a nodule that turned out to be benign. I continued to read the threads and in 2019 after another call back, here I am awaiting biopsy results. According to the radiologist, this nodule is 1.9 cm at 6 o'clock and has both macrolobulations and microlobulations. It's my understanding that macro is good but micro is not. No microcalcifications. It is discribed as "bilobed". I'm nervous and waiting is hard! Any advice?

Conventional wisdom is to distract yourself—binge watch Netflix, watch junky TV, . . . Remember that time marches on and you will get those results. Try not to think about it too much in the meantime.

I went to a nice noisy fun concert the day after my biopsy. Nothing gets your mind off things like rockin' out!

Since the virus is making outings questionable, do walk in your neighborhood. A brisk 30 minute walk really cleared my mind. But I did have to do it several times a day.

Yeah, my other between-medical crap was hiking in parks. They're not usually crowded and any encounters are fleeting.

AliceBastable, thank you! Hiking is such a great idea. I hadn't thought of that but it makes perfect sense in light of this coronavirus pandemic. I need to do something with all this nervous energy!

Just wanted to update everyone who responded to my post. The results are in and what I have is a Intraductal Papilloma w/microcalcifications. I was so happy for about a minute thinking I had dodged a bullet until my doctor brought me down to reality and "educated me" and told me that this can become cancerous. My surgery consult is scheduled for 3/9 with a postponed surgery date due to the Covid 19 crisis.

I have been doing a lot of reading and it seems that I am considered at HIGH RISK for breast cancer. A big time reality check for me.
