Fine needle biopsy on auxiliary lymph node

I had a fine needle biopsy on one of my lymph nodes in my left underarm. I had a mammogram and ultrasound done on my breasts and no cancer was found. The doctors were concerned about my lymph nodes because there is thickening around them.

I'm scared (although the breast specialist I saw said that the chances of me having cancer are small). For people who had a similar procedure, were your results positive? Were the results negative? If the results of the biopsy were positive, what were the next steps your doctor took?

I had one done. She told me she would be very surprised if it amounted to anything. She was correct and my axillary lymph node biopsy was benign.
