Sitting in Limbo

Back in 2015 I became a member of this club that no one wanted to join. I thought my membership had been cancelled once I paid all my dues (surgery, radiation etc) However, my membership was renewed Feb 21st! I've met my "team" again (new BS, same MO, same RO) and by my choice my surgery is planned for April (due to travel needs to 'get things in order').

I already know how wonderful this world-wide support group is and I've lurked on a few threads ~ my heart aches for all the seemingly young women going thru this journey. At least I have ....ahem......"maturity" on my side. Grown children, 8 grandchildren! Since I know that my cancer is lobulal this time and in the opposite breast and have started on Anastrozole......and there is another area of 'calcifications', that's all I know! So....I don't know where to post!

It's amazing how instantly all the old fears took over my head! How the need for information has become so consuming! Perhaps I need to wait for the April surgery list appears in order to know where to post for further info.....and what to prepare for. ~ Most important, I'm here to tell everyone that life does indeed go on and it's amazing how resilient we are and are able to put this journey behind us and carry on.

Nana - I am very sorry you are back in the club. Thank you for sharing your story. You have an amazing positive attitude and it was so nice to read your message. I am not sure where you can post but I know there are many threads about lobular BC depending on what you want to say. Sending prayers your way
