Letrozole side effects

Has anyone experienced side effects of using Letrozole. When I get up in the morning I feel like my legs are in pain. I walk differently. My finger nails are falling out. I can not tell if it's the result of the chemo or Letrozole. Stretching, hydration and walking seem to help a little but I'm scheduled to take Letrozole for 10 years. My Onc advised talking Calcium and Vitamin D daily. I'm wondering if Tamoxifen might have the same side effects.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
