Hey There,

I'm reading so much about intraductal Papilloma, most cause I see individual growth, or people that get them removed and then get another later on in life.

Wondering if anyone has any information on treatment for someone who has multiple, my report actual indicates I have Innumerable growths.

I suffer from oily cyst, which are in both breast, one has been causing me some grieft, so my doctor made an appoitment for new images and to see a general surgeon. In my finidings they saw the cyst in both breast, some clusters, some oil and some calcified but the galactrogram in my right breast which the cyst that causes me grief showed multiple papillomas within my whole ductal system, I was surprised by the images I viewed, to many to count as my doctor worded the Innumerable.

So wondering if anyone has had this, seeing more individual's get extracted for biopsy, but wonder how this is done with multiple? so how can all be tested for atypical cell growth,

I do have a sugeon appoitment scheduled fast for next week, but my mind is wondering,

Thanks,

They might suggest an MRI to see how many ducts are filled with papillomas. The ones that are filled are usually removed.

    Thanks djmammo,

Just had my appoitment yesterday, they did order a MRI, can I ask what an MRI would show differently then an galactrogram would?

I was informed that for this all they do is monitor if the MRI looks okay as the only way for removal is a full mastectomy. I find it hard that if you have and individual papilloma they remove but multiple they monitor, feels like a ticking time bomb!

    Thanks Again for response!
